Only with the TV land and hollyweird types he has reserved restaurant seats permanently at Wolfgang Pucks all over the world if that is influential? But aside from that no way. He is a fun passtime for lame brains to watch in the morning and mostly we watch it for the stars he has come on the show, or we watch to see how Kelly Ripka makes a fool out of herself.

He can talk, thats difficult to do five hours a week. For years, day in and day out, he can interview, and has a folksy way of relating to his audience, but honestly, he isn't influencial in any way other than his old haberdashery thing with the matching tie and shirt that every man was wearing ten years ago.

He's probably not as influential as you may think. He does have some influence over some people and he does have credibility because he is not perceived as a threat to anyone and he also is not thought of as someone who would lie to you.
