I think you are making a bit of a mistake, in your situation. Trying to erase is not the best thing you can do. Obviously you keep thinking about it, but YOU SHOULDN'T, not very easy but also not as hard, instead you have to settle your mind on one thing, that will work for you. And then think of something else. It wasnt' the answer to the question you asked, I know.

Why do u possibly wanna erase ur memories, miss??
Everyone possesses memories either decent or sad....but I just think...decent ones are giving strength for the path we have to go..and sad ones stand as examples...
Cheer up! Just try searching for someone who is better than ur old boyfriend...
Good Luck!!

i would have a hard time erasing just one awful memory - i have too many sad experiences i want to forget - however, they help move me forward to appreciate and put in perspective the good memories, so i guess there must be opposition in all things

Sorry, you won't get a taker here.
My DNA makes me what I am but my experiences make me who I am. Since I am comfortable living in this body with what I am, I have no desire to change who I am.
If you were in fact able to forget such an experience, I doubt you would even recognize yourself in the mirror each morning. Think about it, your experiences are what you learn from and that learning is what you base your decisions on. Who knows which experience will be life altering. Simply being born feet first could change your life forever.

Mine would be similar to yours. I was in love with a girl (head over heels) and she knew it, but was not interested in me. We were friends, nothing more. She started seeing a guy and told me it was long term, while we were at a party. I was happy for her, but it broke my heart. I left the party within about 10 mins. I wish I could forget it, but I don't think I ever will. I occasionally think about it and it upsets me.
It made me stronger, but it was so painful at the time!

if you erase anything from your past it changes the person you are today therefore no matter how painfull the memory it has to be there.
