Yeah, I am a fisherman and I was caught out in a storm with my brother in a thirty foot boat. The waves were easily thirty foot high and we took eight hours to travel 26 miles. (a journey which normally takes four to five hours). The winds were 120 kph (a hurricane) and even when we were five minutes away from the harbour I still did not believe we were going to make it. The lifeboat coxswain is a friend of ours and said that they would have put to sea if they had to but didnt think they would have been able to reach us as the wind was against them. Idont know how we made it but some how we did and I still go to sea but not with my brother...He was in charge. I would really like to know why you have asked this question as it is very profound and interesting. My e-mail is dasinclair1@yahoo.co.uk if you would care to let me know.

yeah!
my best friend cant swim.
and one time i was at a lake with her. and we were staying where her head was above the water. but she accidently stepped into a ditch under the water. so she started struggling and freaking out, and gulping water. so i went over to help. and i can swim, but im not a lifeguard, so i didnt know how to save someone. SO, when i swam over to her, she put her hand on top of my head so that she could push herself above the water. so than i started freaking out, struggling, but she didnt let up. and after what seemed to be an eternity, i managed to swim both of us to a shallow part of the lake. but i dont remember how i did it.

for a long time though, i really thought i was going to drown.
