I love my daughters name, Talise. It is native american meaning cool waters. She is absoultely a doll and sweet as pie. I wish you the best of luck naming your child because it was hard as hell for me. Check how cute she is!!!

I also wanted something different and non traditional. However I think that a lot of people are doing that and messing too much with the traditional names ie with the spelling. The poor child (and other people) can get so confused (and have difficulty learning how to spell it) and also spend their lives having to spell out their name or correct people.
I chose Sienna Jade - eventually.
Others I liked included Jahni, Ciara, Sierra, Shaelyn (various spelling), Jolie, Pepper..
Good luck, I suggest that you have a couple of names you like and dont be too definate. When you see your baby it will soon become evident which one suits her best! If none of them do dont worry - I didnt decide straight away. you have 3 months before you have to name the baby anyway (in australia) if you are really stuck!

Imani is nice - it means faith (African) Sounds girly yet pun of Armani - classy

I'd call my next baby Shani Caya.(not set) s/he may be called something else...My other bas are Ara Yeesan & Alexander Sun

I agree something nontraditional within your community be best. After all why be in class with 5 other people with a derivative of your name. Makes the beholder feel special cause mum made the effort to name he/r. All the best in your quest to find a perfect name for baby.Believe me from experience the name will just pop into your psyche when you make a short list. At child birth it'll hit you when you meet baby. Cheers 99

Dalia! Dalia! Dalia! Dalia! Dalia! Dalia! Dalia! it is the main stylish and consumer-friendly to assert in French, English, Arabic, Spanish, and so on. Aaliyah, Zahra, Yasmin, Haifa, Maliha won't be in a position to be reported properly by westerners. And the others are names of standard singer, abdomen dancers, and so on. Do you particularly need your daughter to be named after a abdomen dancer? Nadeen is astounding, yet overused.
