In the 70s I wore hushpuppy ankle boots. I had a pair of knee high moccasins for a while, but sidewalks wore them out pretty quickly. Bellbottom blue jeans, preferably Levis, a wide leather belt (a wide leather watchband too.). I had a blue jean jacket with the sleeves cut off. I had long shoulder length hair and sometimes wore a headband, always when playing sports. In other words, pretty much the same stuff I wear today.

don't confuse the two decades. the sixties (classically used to describe the years between 1967 and 1972) saw the dichotomy of fashion, from Carnaby Street chic to worn jeans, sweatshirts, and sandals. in the seventies, the era of disco music, fashion demonstrated a far more hedonistic trend; liesure suits, lots of gold chains, styled hair...but the two decades were mirror opposites..the 60's were about discovery and understanding and the seventies were all about greed and acquisition...
