Shilpa is being bullied - but the grounds are not racist.

You're right. Jermaine is playing the race card becasue he wants to take the moral high ground and make him look good for the viewers. Shilpa has been picked on and abused by a bunch of ignorant dopes.

As I see it, NO, it means if good taste cannot always prevail, then at least bad taste must be not offencive. Having not seen an read what he posted I must assume it was not only in bad taste but also offencive. Only the other day was there a news item on the TV about man from Yorkshire arrested for allegedly posting obscene and racially abusive material about the recent deaths of British service men in Afghanistan, and quite rightly so. This has nothing to do with us moving towards a totalitarian big brother society, but all to do with common decency and respect for others.

hm......the whole racisism issue is a big stunt! without all the fights and pickings....who would turn on bigbrother to watch?.....shilpa herself has never mentioned racisism...why should other people?.......i personally dont think she gets picked on...she cries all the time because she makes so many efforts to be nice to everyone and no one appriciates her effort which is normal....i dont know why everyone is turning it into being racist! people should keep quiet...it is all part of the game! the all gossip and do the same things to each other so no one should dare say racist...as for jermaine! yhh i agree calling jackiey white trash was inappropriate....he should just mind his buisness and keep playin the game before jade jo and danille start picking on him! lol

Jermaine is the only one who has said about the difference in colour. If you don't want racism don't be a racist yourself. You are only a victim if you chose to be. My mum always said sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me.

i personally don't think he is instigating it. he was trying to explain to shilpa about class - trailer trash, she did not understand so he used white trash.
that is the only comment he made, but he has said jade,jo etc have no class or respect for themsleves or any one else.

Yes he IS implying racism, he's the one who said 'They're only doing It because of the colour of your skin'
He DID call Jackiey 'white trash'
The girls ARE picking on Shilpa, but I don't think it's got anything to do with the colour of her skin!

A good reason to finally cancel the show and put on programmes "more interesting than watching paint dry" in it's place.

I would rather poke hot needles in my eyes than watch the DRIVEL that is Big Brother!
