The ascorbic acid is combined with sodium bicarb in a reactor then processed into powder. I used to make it in a factory.

Try a natural supplements store or healthfood store. I had a store close to where I used to live that sold a lot of natural stuff and I could find all my supplements there to include in my animals diets. Vitamin K, special oils, powdered Vit C and something else that I had never heard of, but it was for a skunk, sooo.... Type powdered vitamin C into Google and see where that takes you.
