What do you think about South Africa hosting the 2010 world cup?

Even if the World Cup is played in modern-day Iraq, I will surely step two feet there...
South Africa hosting the World Cup is just super. Remember, life is about availability and willingness not ultimate perfection...
There will be hiccups I guess, but that goes to prove that we're all humans, still!

Yeah baby! I am a South African and I reckon it is going to be great. Everyday when I drive to work I go past the renovations and building going on and I am really happy that it is going to happen here. I don't even watch soccer.

i like the idea of the world cup in africa its a brilliant place i hope to go to but i dont like football so i wont go

i think its very good having the finals in south Africa, and i think they will do a great job

Its not that bad down here. Sure there is a lot of crime and pollution but the essential beaty is still there. I live in Durban and I think there will be a few matches down here in the ABSA stadium.

I surely hope so. But I am also planning on the Winter Olympics in Vancouver earlier that year. Hope to be able to afford both!!!
