Depends on what your priorities are. If you're pretty happy outside work and your standard of living is decent I would just stay where you are.

If you're lack of dosh is restricting you too much go for another job there's every chance you'll be happy there too, you may even prefer it.

im in a similar situation. I wnat to be happy because the money would not make up for being unhappy in a job.

Im hoping if i stay happy and do a good job i will earn more as I progress or go into similar work with better pay when im more experinced.

A little more money can be good but being happy is worth so much more and the treats i get with my limited money mean so much more

Keep your current job - and look for something better that you will like with more money.

It is better to be happy than make a ton of money - it depends on what your life situations are - if you are struggling to pay bills and buy the things you want - go for the money. If you have what you need and are doing fine - stay happy.

Depends on what your aims are in life. There's a lot to be said for working hard, in a well-paying job, in ordr to build up a good cash sum and a deposit for a house and furniture etc. You may not like the work but, heck, you go out to work to earn money. If you had a lot of money you wouldn't probably choose to work, so the purpose of work is to earn money. Now if you took this route you could work in something that paid well for, say, five years - which is a really small amount of time in your life, and then change to something that wasn't as well-paid but which you liked. You'd have the security of some good funds behind you as well.

Joanne,

Definitely stay where you are, i've got a "higher" paid job now and it is the worst thing i've ever done. Jobs where you are not happy just make life so depressing and tiring. Stay where you are and still look for something but make sure that its the right job not the one with the most money

If you are happy in your job but need extra income think about another income stream which you could run alongside what you currently do. That's what I did and now the side line business is now my only business. If you would like to know what I do take a look at this web site www.iolair.acnrep.com. Here you will get an overview of an opportunity which can produce a substantial income part time.

Stay where you are happy. No amount of money in the world is worth more than your happiness and well-being.

If you are going to make more more in a job where you are unhappy, make sure it is short-term. Set up a definite plan (and various alternatives) to get out. I think it is important not to get trapped in a situation where you become dependent on the amount of money your earn in a job that leaves you bitterly unhappy.

How do you know you won't be happy at a better paying job? Did you know the average person changes careers at least 7 times over the span of their working years?

You can make your own happiness where ever you go and the extra money will make life easier, too.

Don't worry, be happy! (Good Luck!)

Stay where you are happy. My sister's brother-in-law changed jobs four times in two years. Now he cannot find a job at all.

Stay where you're happy, i followed the money and regret it bitterly. money truly does not make you happy. i would rather be skint and doing what i was before, than stuck in a corporate money machine
