when there is no dignity of labor. Individuals should come forward to do any job they deserve and they should not aspire for white collar jobs only. The main problem is Indian people attach status to some positions and jobs only.

By pursuing the road you're following. I think India has more potential in battling poverty and actually reaching a certain point in reducing it than any developing nation even China. Keep on the hard work and before you know it, it will pay off. If there is anything I recommend for your people is to perhaps put aside your tribal and ethnic differences if you have any. I mean I know India is a vast country with a very diverse population and in my country that is the one thing that really contributes to our lagging behind in every terms. I am very much in favour of your country's way to advancement. There is nothing selfish about it. Keep up the good work.

The people under the poverty line should always try to make their
standard of living a better one, instead if he tries to help the country without caring about his family, then it means he is not doing his job. First he have take care of his family and then he can take care of the country. If every one does this then poverty will be only a memory for the future INDIA

First v need to bear in mind that India wouldn't have been a country like this, if there were no bad politicians.4 these all I would like to blame them. Our President dreams that our country may become 'developed' by 2015.I would like 2 tell u ''never'' against it, unless v change the dirty politics system.
There is one single answer for Ur question as some one said ''If u could get all the secret passwords belong to our leaders for their secret bank account like Swiss bank, then we can try to reduce/remove the poverty in India.

Dear friend

That is a very creditable thought you have got there.
The answer for this lies in our(India's) villages. It is there which we need to help and promote development. The grass root of economy is there. The villages of India still have the bulk of our population(67%). Projects like GRAMEEN SWAROZGAR and other such self employment hold the key to the eradication of poverty.
Our Government is on the right track and it will take still longer time before we could completely acheive this task.

GOOD THOUGHT. JAI HIND !!!

their own goverment and neighbouring countries should be responsible for reducing the poverty in that country. the same goes for other countries like it. they have to learn to help themselves or 'we' will be dishing out money to them all the time. charity begins at home especially where i live in the UK we need to take care of our own country first which is in a shambolic state. eg nhs, education, poverty, immigration, crime etc
