have you really been able to accurately measure the lengths to the nearest 1/10 th of a millimetre?
Wow, I'm impressed!
anyway, the above answer is technically correct, but - for most purposes - 36.9 Sq metres - or even - 37 Sq metres - would be acceptable for an insurance form.

to work this out yourself, it is simply length x width
if you don't have a calculator, there should be one on your PC, usually under 'all programs' and 'accessories'

Just multiply the two = 36.867 square metres.

I would now check rebuild costs- they are around £1,110 per square metre in the UK.
Don't forget to add the area for each floor (i.e. double it for a house with a first floor). This would work out at £81,106 in this case.
Try Zurich for insurance.

You have to be careful with the way you say things.

Five metres square is a square with sides of five metres (25 sq m)

You mean 6.4508 x 5.7150 to make 36.88 square metres.

we can arrive on the respond by using first determining the sq. meters contained on your vegetable backyard. it particularly is represented as an common rectangle measuring 12 meters in length and seven meters in width. Now, how do we calculate the element of a rectangle? as a result, in sq. meters? by using multiplying length situations Width. So our equation might appear as if this: A = 7m * 12m A = 84m sq. So if we got here across 2 toads in a million sq. meter, how many might we expect to fantastic in 80 4 sq. meters? the respond must be expressed in a ratio: 2/a million = 168/80 4. we can effectively estimate a inhabitants of 168 toads on your vegetable backyard.

I would round numbers to 6.45 and 5.72m which is fine for what you are doing.
A = 6.45 x 5.72 m² = 36.9 m²
