Well, thats what happens when you accept a salary, your bosses expect, you to work 16-18 hours a day...No overtime, blah-blah-blah... It is your job to be there before the employees arrive..

I think that your boss should give you a start time! If he has not given you one then I think that as long as you are in there around the same time as your reporting employees, you should be okay! I would ask your boss what time he thinks is good for you to start. What time does he come in??? Maybe he could be in early if you do all of the reports after. Some bosses are cool with that, but others are pricks!

I think you are being too hard on yourself, sounds like you are a valuable employee! If your boss is giving you a hard time about what hours you are working after doing all of the things you put in your question, tell him to do it and change depts!!!! Maybe there is a postion open in other areas, for example, plating! Give that a shot, I am sure Roy Nichols won't give you as hard of a time as Steve will!!!!

I think that as long as you are there about the same time, it should be ok... I assume you get paid overtime, if not I assume you get an hour lunch, which leaves you working 8.5 hours in a day. I think as long as you do your job good, you will be okay!!!

1/2hour to 1 hour before! And always make them aware of the fact that you'll be staying after they will be gone.
