I don't want to hear the White Sox because they won't even make the playoffs; they're still riding that World Series train.

I'd say the Red Sox cause of all the money they've spent this offseason.

There are two teams actually, the Cubs and the Red Sox. The Cubs have improved a great deal but I'm not so sure the Red Sox will end up getting their moneys worth.

One thing is for sure, people can't blame the Yankees for being the only team that goes out and spends money each off season. Just take a look at the entire league this winter. Almost everyone spent a fortune on free agency.

If i had to pick a 2007 World Series right now i would say, Cubs vs. Yankees. I think the red sox did some dumb moves. Spending that much on a pitcher from Japan that is not proven in our market and the JD Drew deal is not even set yet, he did not pass his phyiscal and there not sure they want him... The Cubs need to do it this year because Zambrano might be on his way out.... The Yankees did some addition by subtraction, getting rid of some of there older players and making some good mid level moves....

I would say that the Cubbies after spending a Ton of money have the Hype. Hype is one thing but doing it on the field is another.

Gotta be the Cubbie's. Just look at the money they spent this off season. But it will end up like aways. Better luck next year.

Red Sox, if they miss the playoffs again, there will be hell to pay

Cubs without a doubt. Bringing in Piniella to manage was huge and well as their other big off season signings.
