We are a small business that has a large customer in europe. They pay us by Euro's and to be quite frank the bank rips us off in charges and with a bad exchange rate. Is there a cheaper and more cost effective way for them to pay us?

PayPal is a very cheap way to transfer money internationally. Used frequently with Ebay buying and selling. It is free to set up an account. Check it out at www.paypal.com.

It is perfectly legal to send an employee to deposit large sums of money in the bank. Armored cars are only used for really large sums, and the only purpose of using a bonded person to carry cash is to insure that the money will not be lost in transition. Simply carrying $1,000 to or from a bank does not make one an easy target. It is wise to vary the time and route used to make deposits and the courier should not make the carrying of a deposit obvious.
