very freaky.
one time my t.v. did that. My mother-n-law (who is very religious) told us to quit playing cards because it was almost midnight. she said that's when the devil is out and we were like yeah right. and we told her in a min we were all most done w/ the game. and then right @ midnight like a min after the T.V. made this weird noise and it turned off. she got all pissed off @ us and sent everyone to bed. i made my husband sleep on the out side of the bed so what ever it was would get him 1st.

No, because there are some specific reasons that it happened.
Maybe I will freak out when somebody will come out in the television set and try to kill me.

for some people probably!
but for me i'm not scared of anything except burglars, or unless somebody jump out on me during that period when the lights go on and off.

no but it pees me off because ive had the tv in for repairs and they still havent fixed it properly

That happened to me before! but before it happened a black shadowy thing went by the tv! And I was home alone!!!
