Exactly why I'm scared to death to try my hand at World of Warcraft or anything similar. It's so easy to get caught up in that sort of thing.
I found a compromise though. Science, Philiosophy and Religion make this world plenty interesting enough. I suppose everybody needs some sort of crutch... ^_^

I hope that I never stop seeking truth. yes the truth is hard to handle and it is often uncomfortable, but I could not and would not be satisfied living within the comfort of falsehoods. What would be the point of life then? it would all be a lie.
