Ignorance is the best weapon. I have lots of friends who lie. BIG FAT LIES I mean.. Like they have a business that gives them 300% profit, and that he's selling cars and stuff. That his father owns the Military hospital (which everyone knows that it is part of the Ministry of Defense) and stuff like that. I don't even say hello to him or even pretend to know him. Just say 'ok, whatever, none of my business, I don't really care' and if he asks you 'what's wrong' just say I don't believe a word of what you're saying.

My ex best friend was a big lier as well. We ignored her, or talked to someone else when she started deluding.

tell him that you're aware he's lying and that you can't have a proper friendship if he keeps telling you lies all the time, because then you won't be able to see if you know the real him, or just the person he's pretending to be.

Honey, elaborate. We need to know more about your situation before we can provide you with helpful insight. Generally speaking, being lied to isn't right.

If a person lies, he has little self respect as he accepts that he be an object of/for deceit so he gives himself little value. Why would you want to value someone who doesn't value himself?

Easy, always listen to him but assume the opposite. If he says 'yes', it means 'no'. If he says 'black', it means 'white'. By making a dictionary of annonyms, you can easily tackle your friend.
