I'm a Scot and I can't see any point to your question. You could have named any Country in the world and you queerer would still have been pointless. Why pick England? You also infer that any achievement can only happen if the U.S.A. or Scotland are involved. I spent very happy times South of the boarder. I was Stationed at R.A.F.Lindholme in the early 50.s and made lots of friends around Doncaster. Thorn . Moorends etc I'm British and proud of it.
I can turn the question around and ask! What has America and Scotland achieved without the help of England. Anyone with a smattering of intelligence will see how illogical the question is.

I'm not putting the Scots down in any way, so I'm excluding them. As for the Americans I think England would achieve alot more in terms of world standing without American intervention!

excuse me!!!!!! 1st im proud 2 b english 2nd im proud 2 b british which includes scotland ierland and wales. the english achieve things every day just normal everyday things but they're still achievements. we have a multi cultural society which im proud of. unlike the gun hoe americans we dont do the sad eye 4 and eye **** and dont cruely and inhumainly execute people we dont like or understand. i know blair can be a knob but id rather have him than the thick wit bush who has 2 get some 1 2 tell him how 2 spell his name. i have scottish ansestory and im proud of both countries alike.
