Do these libs really think they can keep people from saying what they feel? If it passes I know it will only cause non libs to use their voices against them even louder. also what happened to free speech that these libs always fall back on when people call them on their biased opinions? what happens if someone does'nt follow the fairness doctrine are they put in prison? I think this fairness doctrine is stupid. just like Dennis Kucinich is.How do I contact these lib leaders, and tell them my opinion about this?

This is the only way they can combat talk radio.People don't like listening to liberal radio because they are already flooded with that view from the rest of the media. You can bet your bippy that it will not be applied to CNN,MSN,ABC,CBS,NBC,PBS or NPR but Fox News will be fined. They would like to shut up Rush, Sean and all the rest.

It is the NeoLib first step towards totalitarianism.Free speech is history as far as the NeoLibs are concerned.

The fairness doctrine is designer to quiet talk radio. To answer "Bert T" its the libs who are afraid of free debate. That's why open discussion on talk radio doesn't work for libs. Liberal thought is intellectually lazy and will never hold up to scrutiny. To make up for the lack of talk radio time the libs want free unchallenged radio time.
The intellectually lazy will never understand. They don't have the capacity.
