Vocalize every day. Lightly warm up your voice in the middle of your range and then work slightly higher, and then slightly higher. As you are singing higher, imagine that you're voice is going down. You can use your index finger to help you visualize this: Start singing a scale going up, and as you do this, move your index finger down. Watch your finger moving and focus on it. As you start singing back down the scale, move your index finger upwards. This may sound odd, but it helps you to understand what your breath support needs to do as you're singing. It also helps avoid tension in the throat.

There are a lot of good techniques for singing, but the best thing to do is to find a good teacher. Find someone's voice that you like and ask them who their teacher is. If the teacher doesn't work for you, try others until you find one that you work well with.

I was once in a choir. David Hamilton did a workshop for us. He's a famous vocal workshop person who writes music.
He told the soprano boys to sing higher by pushing their chin back towards their neck. This can create a "double-chin" effect.
This gives you a high voice. There's a theory called the "head sound shell" theory or somewhat like that. The theory states that your head is your soundshell. And by pushing your chin toward your neck, you somehow open up your throat and a higher sound is able to be sung.
Another technique that evolved from the "head sound shell" thing is that you can lift your head up as though a string was connected to the ceiling and your head. And then you yawn while singing. This opens up your throat, allowing you to sing louder and at a higher pitch.
Good luck
