I have pet chickens, most of them die form unexplained causes.

I would kind of like the idea of eating them but I dont know of I could if it came to it. I guess the same would go if I kept any other food animals. I should stop being such a wuss, I just dont like the idea of seeing the animal im going to eat.

I definately would never eat any other pet like dog, cat, rabbit. That would just be cruel coz you build up such a closeness, plus they prob wouldnt provide much meat

Hello again, not heard from you in a while. Didn't try eating the rabbit then......or was it the pony. No sensible person would eat meat from a fallen animal (that is one that has died of natural causes) something killed it after all so it obviously wasn't in perfect health was it. So I repeat, no sensible person would, but you............well go right ahead mate.

No, that's rank! I have a dog and three cats, and even if they were all disease free, I know what they've been eaten for the last few years, and that's enough to put me off.

No, how could you eat your pet? I could never eat my beloved dog, or any other pet either. But then again I don't eat any meat so I suppose all to their own

depends on its age though. i have ate many pets in the past(i class sheep, goats, chickens and geese as pets.) so yes i probably would again. but i think i would draw the line at eating my dog or ferret though. unless of course i was VERY hungry.

If I was starving and would die myself otherwise (like if I was at the North Pole and had run out of supplies and one of my huskies died) but otherwise, big no!
