Since you mention the tasks your going to carry out with a laptop well i would recommend you getting a Macbook Pro cos of its amazing ability to handle Movies Music and Blogging etc, iLife is native so basically the Mac is built for this sortta thing and also the looks are pretty cool on the MAcbook pro with metal finish. The problem comes when you want to watch TV and Play games. Its really hard finding mac based games and also Apple does not have a option of TV in their systems but then again in the latest macbook pros you could install windows via bootcamp but i suggest you get PARELLS desktop because otherwise your gonna have to restart every time you want to switch to either OS, Then you could play games also get a USB TV system and u have TV. On a smaller note, Price maybe a concern when you purchase a macbook pro because its starts at 1999 USD with a 2.16 CORE2DUO and 1 GB RAM and 256Graphics memory, but well if you look at similar products like Dell XPS its a shot worth to give a macbook a try,. I mean the reliability and stability and also the light weight beats the difference. By the way most Laptops that come with TV are pretty heavy since they are Desktop replacements so i think you should get a USB tv tuner cos afterall you buy a laptop for mobility not to keep at home.

Get a Dell Inspiron 6400 or 9400. Dell is having huge sales on their laptops right now including an instant $250 off when prices over $1099. So all you have to do is load up that baby with a 2.0Ghz Duo Core, 2GB of Ram, and a 128MB graphics card and your set. You'll be able to do everything you could dream of and it should only cost you about $1,000-$1020 after taxes. I think they even are running free shipping right now.

Get an Alienware laptop! Those are the absolute coolest and since you want to do lots of multimedia stuff, I think this laptop is for you. They are stylish, powerful and quite suited to task. You can also check them out on this site. If you don't like the prices, you can also see what eBay has for you or purchase a refurb.
This is the laptop of my dreams. This one and the Acer Ferrari laptop.

Have fun and get something you are going to love!!!!

you're very fortunate that the pc works in any respect. do no longer RUN IT even as ITS moist, disconnect the flexibility and get rid of the battery. you want to dry the gadget out. relax the pc on it truly is part to stay away from water from getting any better into the gadget. The keyboard isn't operating because water is shorting it out, if left that way for too lengthy the contacts interior will corrode. in case you could get rid of the keyboard benefit this, there is generally a clip alongside the fringe of the keyboard that holds the keyboard in position that would want to properly be released using a small screwdriver even as tilting the keyboard up and out, upon getting it out attempt using a blow dryer to dry out the keyboard. do not attempt to reveal the word e book back on except each little thing is thoroughly dry.
