I am a practising Reflexologist and have received many reflexology treatments myself. I have found them to be very beneficial for me. Reflexology works on the principle that there are reflex zones in the hands, ears and feet, and each zone corresponds to a particular organ within the body. These reflex areas are massaged using gentle thumb pressure. In some instances, therapists may use small wooden sticks (traditional method). The reflexology itself aims to stimulate all the systems in the body to help promote natural healing and bring about relaxation. Reflexology is a great preventative therapy which means regular treatments can help prevent common illnesses from occuring. Many ailments can be treated with the use of Reflexology. Some of these include:
depression/ anxiety
muscular aches and pains
rheumatism/ arthritis
menstrual problems/ infertility
insomnia
digestive disorders
hypertension
respiratory problems
skin complaints
If you are wanting to try alternative therapies, contact your local complementary health centre who will advise you on what treatment would be most suitable for you and your needs. They will also ensure that all therapists are fully qualified and insured.

I've been a massage therapist for 16 years, and recently took 75 hours of reflexology training. I enjoy working on feet and wanted additional techniques. I got much more. Each foot reflexology session I received relaxed my entire body more than many full-body massages I've had. Now that I'm home and practicing on others, they are wowed by the relief and comfort they're feeling from reflexology. When you ask whether reflexology actually works, are you seeking scientific proof? One theory being explored is that reflexology stimulates the 7,200 nerve endings in the feet, which link to every structure and system in the body. Responsible bodyworkers (reflexologists, et al) will inform clients of potential concerns, and refer them to medical professionals when appropriate. A bodyworker will not attempt to diagnose or treat a medical condition. On the other hand, your doctor will not offer you soft tissue mobilization techniques. To me, that works. In my experience, bodywork's main benefits include releasing stress and tension, while increasing relaxation and parasympathetic nervous system activity. Its effectiveness is scientifically proven. It's also been demonstrated that stress exacerbates illness and may be a causal factor for some diseases. You're benefiting from yoga in similar ways. Studies will prove some things and not others. Nothing can prove or disprove the experiences you and others have, which as you now know from yoga, are very satisfyingly real. I wish you joy on the journey.

I have studied both zone therapy and reflxology and qualified to do both therapies. The effects of relexology can be very beneficial on all levels emotional and physical, a good therapist will find inbalances throughout the body as soon as they start treating the client. The effects as with any holistic therapy can be quite profound especially since working on a small area the feet and as every part of your feet corresponds to a part of your body including internal organs, toxins and inbalances are realeased from the body, so initial effects after can be anything from feeling on top of the world, to flu like symptons, feeling tired, unsteady etc. But if you follow the aftercare advice relax after the treatment, drink plenty of water and listen to your body and avoid any stimulants you will then get the best from your treatment. I hope this has helped a bit

My friend was trying to have a baby for years and then she had reflexology and bingo the next month she got pregnant. They apparently stimulated the area that co-incides with the reproductive organs. Reflexologists can also diagnose illness according to corresponding parts on your feet to your body.

Firstly ,it was a very relaxing experience. Areas where health issues were either a current problem (previously unknown by the reflexologist) or potential were identified within minutes...and subsequently resolved. Well worth a visit.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/Ya4fv
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

It is relaxing but interesting if there is a tenderness on the foot, as you probably know that connects to a part of your body. I always have a digestive problem and it encourages me to drink more water after a treatment.
