Sometimes radio versions block it out, then if I hear it the original way, I usually use the word everytime I hear that song from then on. Is this offensive to you? Do you think we should be allowed to use it. Otherwise it is a form of reverse racism and segregation.

It's obvious if you're in your car, in your house, wherever you are, listening to whatever you're listening to, no one can say a thing to you about using the n-word, or any other word for that matter.

But since you asked a certain question, my answer is yes, it's still offensive no matter where you are, and no, no one, black or non, should use the word.

The word was once used to hurt people--it was literally suspended in its use until--the Hip-Hop phenomenon. Now the public is supposed to be de-sensitized. I'm offended. The American way of life, allows free speech; to impose our will on the use of a word or phrase is anti-American. We must choose which words we use. If white people use it while addressing each other-to each his own. However, there is an inherent stupidity in using it. At times its disgusting, at times its a term of endearment to some and a term used to dehumanize. I've heard it for years and I've moved beyond using it. It is as repugnant as the user.I've never considered it's use as reverse racism, because Racism as an ideology seeks to define superiority, and to restrict access, like segregation. Hey, stupidity has no limits, no boundaries.
The question is:What are you responding to in that particular song?

The young black people here where I live say when they run into one another "my nig, whats happening" If they want to be called that, then it shows ignorance on their part as they scream out, "don't call me that if you are white" All it is, is a lack of education, low moral standards, and ignorance on their part. They wonder why people are always putting them down, when they do it to themselves. If they would stand up and BE MEN, they would not be called half of the things that they are called. It is always called racist this and racist that, when they bring it on themselves. That goes for any Race, when they do not give respect, they do not get respect, as respect is something that is EARNED, not a privilege.

well its an art to sing -rap and if white people rap using "N***a" or "Q*** t" or "D***j" it really does not matter Coz its just a white man rapping ( sharing his point of view) or rather if someone thinks other ways well i would categorizer them as racist.

Wrong, bad.
I hate racism of every kind. I know there is another definition for that word that some use, but to me it still refers to racism.
If there is anything that angers me most is RACISM.
I'd prefer my 3 year old say "F**K YOU" than "N*g*e*" any day.

rap sucks and in reality only appeals to people in the ghetto. i never understood the appeal by white people, unless you're trailer trash like eminem who grew up in the ghetto. just another example of corporations telling you what to listen to. stupid sheep.
