Er, because it was men who held back women's rights and repressed them in the first place - fearful of how powerful we were. Plus, why would we want to be equal to nimwits like you when we're already superior!!!

Women don't have completely equal rights yet, although we are gradually getting closer to that (legally speaking that is, but inequality will continue for longer because there are ways to go around laws).

Masculism has always existed, it just doesn't have a name, it has been considered the norm. Men have been the ones in power and the ones with the more rights, throughout history. When women started fighting for more rights it was like rising up against the excessive masculism and sexism.

I think it would be nice though to have some sort of a masculism movement that would be focused on ensuring equality (men are also discriminated against in some ways, just on different and much fewer subjects than women) and hold up the dignity of men. I don't think it's right that it crosses over to fighting AGAINST feminism, but more like keeping an eye out for men's rights like feminism keeps an eye out for women's rights.

You don't hear about it because it's been the de facto state of society since time immemorial. Women have had the vote in the UK for less than a century, as opposed to the thousands of years of history where they were legally treated as second class citizens.
Take a look around you. I don't see a great deal of "masculinity" being eroded, I see the status quo. Most of the positions of power are held by men in our society. Britain's had ONE female Prime Minister, America is yet to have a female president.

Anyone apart of that movement is gay because they don't like women to be apart of that. Women did not subordinate men so there is no reason for men to fight for any rights or protest. Women have been subjected to sexism and gender roles clearly still exist so masculism is really just a bunch of bitter, misogynistic, cruel men that haven't been soothed by a good woman yet if ever.

Equality?!?? Women have it MUCH better than men. They have many more life choices and support from government and society in general.

Feminism has changed. It was a movement that was formed to make things better for women. Now, it's obvious aim is to make things worse for men.

You want to hear about masculinism?

It's called "If Men Have All the Power, How Come Women Make All the Rules?"

well, just like waht u said: surely women have complete equal rights now...if you protest now, then there would be an uprise of the issue again...there would be no equality once and for all...for your information, we are living in a patriarchal world with patriarchal society...meaning, men are put in higher pedestal than most women...so why protest?
