Philippines is 14 hours ahead of CA, so it would be 3 AM, the next day.

Actually, according to the link provided by the previous person who answered, Manila is 16 hours, not 14 hours, ahead of San Jose. If it's 13:00 or 1:00pm at San Jose, then it is 5:00am in the Philippines.

Easiest way to remember is to add four hours (three during non-daylight savings) and switch the AM to PM.

i.e., 1300 in San Jose + 4 hours = 1700 switch to am and it is 5AM
