Stoat is the word. A stoat is bigger, turns white in wintertime, and in summertime is usually blackish brown with a white tip on its tail.

A stoat is somewhat bigger than a weasel. The stoat has a BLACK tip to it's tail which remains black even in winter when the rest of it's coat turns white. The scientific name for weasel is Mustela nivalis and the scientific name for a stoat is Mustela erminea
