Do not go for it.
They project lot of dreams and it looks like one would reach heaven in no time and without much effort.
In reality very few people reach some comfortable level after very hard labour. As per my assumption maximum ONE in 50000 (may be more) people can become Diamond.
This is not a business in real sense. This is more of a selling LIE.
The product standard is very good and price is too high. They may prove cost effective by misleading calculations, but that's not true.
Also you will have growth once your network increases. If 100 person starts the network and every one makes 10 dealer every month in 8 months the total number of AMWAY dealer would be 111 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand. Is it practically possible !!

Dear friend,
Amway is a multilevel marketing type organisation. Generally any business in this line is quite profitable if u become a member as soon as it is started its business and u should work hard to convince people and make up their mind to join under you.
By the time people understand the loopholes in the business, many people would have joined and you would have encashed your investment and keep getting.
If you are a shy type, better wind up before u start loosing in lakhs and in addition ur friends too!
If you happen to join late, then u will be in soup. Search for adverse remarks about Amway or any other such companies before u invest and proceed!
Wish u all the best!

Amway has great products. If you're not comfortable talking with people, take a Public Speaking class. You'll get lots of practice and it will help you feel much more comfortable. It ws one of the best clsses I took in college. Otherwise, if you're really uncomfortable talking with people, I would say sales is not for you. There are good sales people, then there are people like me. You have to be a talker to be a good salesperson.

Just follow the suggestions they give you.
The best thing about Amway (or other MLM or network marketing companies) is the training. I now have my own regular company, but it all started with Amway and a few other MLMs. I was sick of my job (Just Over Broke). After learning what I learned from MLMs, I was able to start a regular company and escape from the JOB world.
One word of caution: don't go overboard with the spending. It is easy to lose a lot of money trying to build these MLM types of businesses.

I have a problem talking to people too. But when I became a distributor I ended up chasing people around town to give them their small orders and made no profit. I've done several business like that and never suceeded. The company I will be a part of forever is International and you will never have to stock or deliver again. So be careful how you build you business because with that drawback you are liable to just sit still and not run the business. You should see my profile and email me because Yahoo doesn't like for us to relay links. Good Luck!

Try selling it on the internet. If you're not comfortable talking with people, it will be hard to sell to people you know. It might also be a good idea to distribute flyers for various products you're selling. If people are interested in the products, you don't have to worry about trying to hard sell to them.

first have hands on training and then have experience through acquittance with the people in the same field who have the inclination to assist, your progress in business should be steady and customer oriented. punctuality is vital.
