i'm 19, still a virgin, new at this, uncircumcized penis, (when penis not erect:skin covers the head, and when penise erected:skin still covers the head.) when i get a full erection, the extra skin does not go over the head onto the shaft. i tried manually pulling the skin down but achieved no succes, it was tight and a little painful. while doing so a 1/4 of the head was visible. however, when my penis is not fully erect or when it's semi erect, i can pull the skin past the head onto the shaft. however the skin bunches up behind the head and it feels a little tight/awkword. it feels as though i'm loosing circulation and my penise starts to shrink, it's a little difficult to have an erection as well. the extra skin can come back to it's original status of covering the head, but i have to manually do it. it won't do it automatically.

rolling skin forward while in warm bath onto two fingers gently pulling apart to stretch 'ridged band' then reverse roll back to tightest point and holdin for longer each time 'skin only stretches when kept under tension for extended periods of time.retracting every time you urinate and using cortico-steroid creams also are effective.

Circumcision is very seldom needed for phimosis. Paraphimosis is an emergency when the foreskin gets caught and cuts off circulation. Circumcision IS done to treat this emergency situation if icing and other conservative treatment are not enough, but it's seldom necessary because the icing, etc, have a good chance of working.

Stretching and hormone creams are both good, but if they don't work in a reasonable length of time, as urologist can make some minor slits that relax the skin and enable it to stretch. Be sure to specify that you do NOT want a full circumcision - that would be like cutting off your finger to treat an infected fingernail! A few doctors are very pro-circ (it's an easy solution for the doctor, but it's not his body that's getting mutilated!); if you happen to get one of those, ask for a second (or even third) opinion.

There is an article on phimosis that you might find of interest at http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/beauge2/

Good luck!

Good description ....

It does sound like you have a pretty serious case of tight foreskin.

I would suggest you can try to advance this in two stages - first try gently to ease (possibly over several weeks or months) the foreskin over the head of your erect penis - but do not force or rush it - this would be very bad and could cause you to have to go to accident/emergency. Some creams (perhaps with steroids - maybe only available with prescription) may help as well to loosen the tightness.

Next stage maybe to have either partial or full circumcision - but you need to sure that this is necessary and what/which is best for you.

You may want to talk to either a trusted friend, mom, dad or brother - or perhaps, especially if you need to move onto the next stage, a doctor - they will give good advice generally, make sure that comments made on the internet are true and also presribe creams or refer you to a urologist if necessary.

Lots of good web sites out there - but don't automatically believe all the pro and anti circ stuff they peddle - this issue causes lots of polarised views. Try www.circlist.com - they are pretty pro-circ but do have some good stuff.

Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Yes you have Phimosis. You will have to go for a minor surgery called circumcision.
