They come here expecting to be richer than they are in Mexico, and they are, but not rich enough to afford healthcare, so they go to the Dr's and can't pay the bill. over 60 hospitals have gone out of business in California recently. Is this a problem?

I feel that Wal-mart, california's largest employer is at fault! The federal government is at fault for the illegal immigrant problem!

Not just the illegals but the immigrants period. Back in the 80's this was a problem and Reagan got in and it got worse when he gave amnesty to all the illegals and they all made a B line for the Welfare offices and got Green Cards, and Free Medical and the abortions were outrageous. I voted for the 186 law. To stop all abortions to the illegals mostly the Catholic illegals? hmmmm?
And then things improved for a while till all the money ran out in the early ninties, then they borrowed from big businesses like Pharmeceutical Companies? And of course the medical cut backs were deplorable under Reagan right after he gave amnesty to all the illegals and then gave them free medical and our insurance costs rose to unaffordable rates. And then HMO lots of problems there they would not treat you with the right meds because it was not paid for by the company? I am so glad you asked this question, I personally lobbied in the 80's against the insurance companies so that they would cover catostrophic health plans Illinois passed it greatly, and Blue Cross President that very year (Front page Suntimes chicago) Dec 4, 1981, embezzeled 13 million dollars and they slapped his hands and he went free, he invested our money in the Stock market and lost 13 million. They called it mismanagement of funds, but yet they put Martha Stewart in Jail? Go figure? She at least provided something for an income for many that guy was just a big wig pushing pencils and stealing money, and literally killing people.
This issue is very important and you should research more you have hit the nail on the head. All that money to foreigners and health care and we pay through the nose for ours and cant get proper care either. And the immigrants get free and leave with our money after abortions and go get married in a Catholic Church in a white Dress. Now I said my ABC's what do you think of me?

Are illegals totally to blame...absolutely not. California is so politically correct in their legislation that they have made it easy for health care abuse. But are the illegals taking advantage of the problem...absolutely.

You bet it is ! they also have what they call "Anchor Baby's", they run across the border just before giving birth, then have the baby, now the kid is an American Citizen, and the mother can stay in country, Perhaps Nancy Pelosi's "fat cat" Capitolilist husband, who made millions on them, and "Nancy" (i'm in dream land and everyone is nice) Pelosi have a spare room for them in their mansion, I feel so sorry for the people of California.
