hiya this would be my dream job if someone paid me to go on holiday and write reviews on the hotel, location the food etc. is there a job available ?? and what do you call this job ???

This job does exist, however, you need to have a background in the business. I work in the hotel industry and a company came in last year and gave my boss this type of job...touring around, staying in different hotels and rating their service. You have to have a very intimate knowledge of how the industry works.

Don't know for sure but I guess freelance travel journalists are the closest thing. You would write your review (at your own expense) and then try and flog your article to someon. Most hotel reviews that are done are done by client surveys on the way home (I think).

As well as the qualities mentioned previously, I would suggest a journalism background might be worthwhile. You could study journalism at Uni and focus on the travel industry. Good luck!
