The Demoncrats' liberal allies control ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC, while the conservatives control only Fox News Channel and talk radio. FNC is pretty close to fair and balanced already, with many frequent appearances by Demoncrat strategists and poltiicians. They'd have to add a couple more Colmeses, but a true application of "fairness" at the other channels would put a lot of MSM liberals out of work.
I guess having the public schools, universities, unions and major media parrot the Democrat Party line isn’t enough. The Democrats have to be sure to quash all opposition to their morally and intellectually bankrupt agenda.

AM radio found a disenfranchised group of consumers, called Conservatives. TV was completely and utterly dominated by Liberals. So AM Talk became Conservatives only option.
Liberals still dominate TV. The one sort of exception is FoxNews, which is
1) not as conservative as the doomsayers proclaim,
2) crappily run, and
3) reactionary to liberal media's talking points
But despite its failings, its put a reasonable dent in Liberal TV control. But overall Liberals control the rest.
When Liberals no longer dominate TV, Conservatives will no longer dominate radio.
Unlike TV radio is more compatible with people who work for a living (driving to work, listen at work, etc.). So that gives the edge to Conservatives.
