I guess my divorce. Although I think it TURNED me into a butterfly. I have become stronger, wiser, more independent and I am amazed at myself in actual fact on how much I have been able to tolerate and still survive! It's strange how Strong us gals can actually be when the going gets tough.

Plus, the best diet I have ever been on! Lost 30 kilograms in 3 months! Never looked better. So I guess this experience has turned me into ME. Wary, tough, thin and afraid of life but getting through it anyhow.

Dont know but in Portugal being called a butterfly is an insult. Like questioning a mans sexuality.

Realization growing up that I had been taught to be superstitious and at times, self-destructive.

Understand that while it sounds ugly, the best way to understand human interaction is that everybody is always using everybody around them. More often than not this arrangement simply goes without incident.

Laugh when you find out you've been logically incorrect.
Cry when you find out you've been emotionally naive.
Learn from both.
