The key to defeating the final boss, General Raam, is to get him with a head shot. Unfortunately, he has a swarm of Kryll which acts as a shield. Luckily, before you actually confront him, you are able to trade in your conventional weapons for the Torque Bow and the Longshot Sniper rifle. Hit him with the Torque Bow to clear the Kryll away, then go for the head shot with the sniper rifle. The Troika emplaced weapon at the opposite end of the train car is useless; stand your ground and let him approach you. As he gets closer, run to the opposite side of the train, utilizing available cover. Use grenades as well to get rid of the Kryll shield, always aware of your surroundings, since you are also vulnerable to being killed by the Kryll in the dark regions, as usual. Remember to use the active reload technique when firing the sniper rifle, otherwise precious time will be lost waiting for the next round. Timing is important, but once you get the headshot, the ending cinematics will start... On to the Hardcore and Insane levels!

stay in the light, his birds wont go near you, and kill you. Also just step out of the light and run to another and when the birds come for you he will be open and unprotected. That's when you unload on him, then hide and repeat, there is also a mini gun if you run low on ammo, toward the front of the car. If this is not the gen. Ramm guy then don't bother, if its the beserker at the beginning, run to the last call and wait til hes at the back and press the button to let the car unlock and he will drift off.

I used the cross bow type weapon (cant remember the name of it) you should be able to pick it up before you go into the next carriage, hit him with that. Run up to the other end below the big gun & u should be able to take cover in the light. Then when he approaches throw ur grenades (blind) whilst sill taking cover when he gets close. I killed him with 5 bolts & 4 grenades ... happy gaming

Wait for the Kryll (bats) fly away from him as they are practically his shield. To do the most damage run down to the end of the train and get in the Troika (sentry gun). That can take him out in mere seconds.

Yes, Hammer of Dawn will do the most damage
Torque Bow works really well also. I prefer the shotgun but the disadvantage to that is that you have to be close to be accurate. Whatever weapon you decide to use will be successful if you aim for his head.

y do those guys tell u 2 use the hammer of dawn when u dont even get it on the train 2 fight him with, sniper headshot with active reloads is ur best bet

wait til the bats leave him and then use torque bow... when he gets to your end of the train run to the other end of the cariage but try and stay in the light else the kryll will kill you.

You can use any gun really, aim for his head. as he gets close to you, you need to move up to the end he just came from, stay in the light though. keep moving and shooting and you'll get it. it took me a few goes.

hammer of dawn does more damage - play it on live dude - awesome!
