If you really do want to leave (as opposed to a better percentage of profits), then ask yourself the question, "would be company sack me if the owner was losing money?"

The answer will probably be yes. So, prepare your exit - you can perhaps recruit a replacement (or at least write the job description for them) and you can offer to work out a longer notice (I've had a 3 month notice period before now). It is up to your employer if they want that to happen or if they just want you to go - but it is professional and polite to prepare anyway.

If you are looking to stay under better conditions, prepare to leave but don't say that right now. Arrange a meeting with your employer to discuss your terms and conditions; in that meeting, present your case (what you want and why you deserve it). Don't threaten them with resignation though - save it for when they respond to your request for improved conditions. Let them think about it, but not too long. Say that you would like to discuss the issue again next week (and suggest a time).

Good luck.

hello sir,
First of all ur company is very lucky to have an employee like you. I should appreciate for ur care and concern towards ur compnay. There are few things which u can do:

1. Talk to ur owner and tell him the situation. He will definetly understand ur problem and will do something for that because he cannot afford to lose an employee like u for short money.
2. If this doesnot work out then tell him that u opt to come out of the company because of pay pack. see the reaction. If negative, then give him the resignation letter. come out dignifiedly.

As u said u gave good relations with them, u see if u can replace any good person there. for that u need to have found a new job for ur self. Because u have to continue working. U will definetely find a very good job outside for the exp wht u have.Therez nothing wrong in this becoz everbody works for money and they need it to live.

All the best.
Handle Tactfully.

Sounds like you care about the company and the owner. Before you leave, have a sit down and put the facts on the table. You may be surprised.

If you donot need any certificate of experience, just give a debility certificate and quit office without intimatiion at the month end (after getting the salary)
