You don't need a prom gown with a matching mask. Where whatever gown you want with a mask that is either silver, gold or black. Whichever will go best with the gown. Probally matching it to your jewelry will help. They can be fancy or plain. The idea is to be mysterious and not to cover the whole face. Whatever you choose will look just fine. Just go to yahoo search and type in masquerade masks and you will see many sites to get ideas. Have fun at your prom!

That sounds like a blast. I work for www.PromDressShop.com and I just got back from Las Vegas. In Vegas on the strip I found a ton of masks that match our dresses and I was thinking this would make a good photo shoot so I bought some. Keep your eyes peeled for 2008 when we will show this. My thoughts were, find a dress you like then make the mask to match. our dresses always have matching shawls, you could buy a plastic mask from Micheals, then cover it with a portion of fabric from the shawl and decorate it with sequins or beads. Just a thought. By the way check out our dress style P793 this would look awesome with a mask.

Seeing pictures would really help me answer this but I would go with the black or gold one. Just try them both with it! You just want to make sure that you don't have TOO much gold going on with the gold mask so you don't get washed out by it so the black might break it up a bit. Hope you have a great time at prom!

How about painting your face? It can be very cool and you can free your hands from having to hold the mask and go crazy-dancing!
