You can trust that since I do not know who you are, whatever you have to say means little and is insignificant to me so I couldn't care less about sharing it with other people. Your secret is safe with me unless it is along the lines of murder.. in that case, you would receive no loyalty from me.
People who I am close with, I usually ask that they do not share secrets with me because I don't like being put in the middle of things or forced to feel guilty because I know a secret about someone or something and that secret might be unjust. However, if I agree to hear it and give my word.. my word is solid and I would not tell a soul.

That's entirely up to you. Most of my friends reckon I am the "Secret Keeper" (Remember that movie where the little girl charges for keeping secrets?)

I have secrets that I still keep from over 20 years ago! OMG, I had almost forgotten them! (Reminds me I have one to hold over my sisters head even now!)

No, don't tell me. Why tell someone you don't know a secret? You won't know whether they can keep it or not.
