I've been a representative with Primerica since 2003. My problem is I'm afraid of rejection. This is why I don't pursue it as diligently as I should. Can anyone offer me a foolproof method to going up to strangers and starting conversations? I know it's a legitimate company and the services are excellent, but I need a little boost in confidence to get out there and make it happen.
Please provide any positive feedback you can.

my sister got into that business. she is a great person, outgoing and fun...but only if you've known her for a while.
she is very shy when it comes to meeting new people. she was also insecure about her accent.... needless to say ,she gave up after not making good sales....this was a few years ago.. i think today she may do things differently if she decides to do that again.
from experiencing her situation second-hand, i say u need to be confident. sure, u are trying to make some money, but also, the kind of business you're in is the kind people need. in reality, you are very much helping them.
approach every situation as if u are doing them a favor. it will be easier to be confident and secure about yourself....
