Dragon's response is partly true and partly false. Good and evil are realities of the world, and the credit for evil causing misery cannot be given to a single individual. Every evil dictator must have henchmen, traitors and co-conspirators to bring about his evil reign of terror. Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Saddam, ect.

Good people are too often reluctant to oppose, rebel or otherwise stand up and fight for the right to live a life of freedom and prosperity. To do so sometimes requires them to commit acts of violence they find abhorrent and no different than the acts of the evil ones. As a result, they forfeit their happiness and freedom.

Negativity is more powerful than positivety. Think about how someone feels inferior, this is a negative emotion. Doesn't matter how much you tell that person he or she is NOT inferior, they will find it very hard to take on board the positive input. The negativity will dominate.
Same goes for evil people, they are negative, and have such a negative impact on people.
I wouldn't say evil was stronger than good, just that positivity (good) is some much harder for people to comprehend, the negativity (evil), is so easy to believe, feel, accept.
Negative feelings of anger, despair, unhappiness, depression etc, last so much longer than the positive feelings of happiness, love, contentment.

I don't think evil is stronger than good, but in many cases evil is the easier option; it takes work to be good and so some people take the easy way out.

Also, those who are in power have influence over many, but power corrupts, leading to evil.

Good is stronger than evil.Don't let evil make you miserable. Fear god and laugh at evil. Evil is jealous of good. Remember that.

Evil and good are creations of the human mind...they are completely arbitrary. Everyone causes others to suffer some time in their lives. And you can't put the suffering of many on the hands of one...to do so is merely ignorant.

I didn't say they didn't exist...just that they exist fairly differently in each person's mind...(arbitrary)...

it isn't evil that is making the good people miserable, it's themselves that are doing it, only you can make yourself feel a certain way.
