I got this album a couple of months ago and stll havent listened to it
My question is should I bother? Is it good? What is better Jupiter or Mars?
What is the stand out track?
How does it compare to Californication

I loved this album! I thought it was far better than Californication (which was a big let down for me, there were maybe two songs I liked on it.) Of the songs you have listed Stadium Arcadium is the one I like best, but my favorite is Snow. I have to add because I was just reading some others answers to this and I have to say that no, its not classic chili peppers, but it is. They have such a mix of influence, every album has been unique. Breaking the Girl will forever be my favorite RHCP song. I think that it is part of there legacy to be unique.

Comparing to Californication, this album is a flop
Cali i gav it 5/5 stars
this one i gav it 3/5 , sure, im glad they have bring back the funk music as their 80s albums
But you know, somthin is missing in this album. Have a try, both discs are pretty equally o.k.

Sand Castle
She's only 18
Slow Cheetah
Still the best album of Red hot chili peppers' entire carrer is Mothers Milk (1989)

i liked it not so much mars as i did jupiter though... personally as a whole i think californication was better

I don't think it's as good as their older stuff..but you should listen to both disks coz both have some ok songs and your musical taste might differ from mine..the best one that comes to mind is She's 18..something like that

i deff agree you should at least give it a chance! i think musically it is good and they are still talented at least compared to other people around right now) but its just not to everyones taste if they like the older stuff.its abit mainstream.and formulac,er sorry not sure thats a word,you might understand me there.

If it's anything by the Red Hot Chili's, then I would recommend chucking it straight in the dustbin...surprised you even have the gall to admit you got the cd...ha ha ha
