Last time I saw Tracy smile was after Grassy loved her.
You were dazed and bewildered Dear in a wonderful way
And Yes I hate those Happy face circles

That is a good question. I never tell people to smile (or tell them how they should feel or pretend to feel for that matter), but I do get tired of people telling me to smile. It can be annoying, especially when there is a good reason why you're not smiling and people still want you to smile and act like you're doing great.
To smile dictators: If you want someone to smile, why don't you try doing something nice for the person to cheer them up or say/do something funny that could get them to smile? That works so much better and can actually make the person feel a little better too, while just telling them to smile will rarely get you anything beyond a fake smile with annoyance behind it.

Why don't they have teeth? Well then I am sorry for that then.
But did you ever think it is annoying to others when you act so grim and they feel out of place with a grumpy person, so they are trying to ad cheer, and if you want comedy pay for it and go to a comedy club. We are not here for your amusement but you could be a little more cordial. Look it up, happiness, you should try it sometime, ha ha ha and smile you are on Q and A where everyone has a good time, join in and have some fun, or not?

Um, it works in basics. Let me explain...
When you smile, even when not wanted, your body automatically releases chemicals which raise your level of enjoyment. This helps many people, especially when lowdown.
You might not understand this, but a smile is like a plague. If I passed by a person while smiling, that other person might smile in return, then the next will, the next, the next, and etc...
However, if the person has a grumpy face, the next person will stop smiling OR will start making fun on how the person which just passed them looks like Clint Eastwood on his worst day.
So in return, smiling is the best policy...remember, when down, smile smile.
(Unless it's a bratty attitude)

First of all you dont have to tell them. You initiate and smile. If you feel the real emotions behind smiling then this feeling will extend to other peopleand eventually will make them smile too.

It will make the person feel even lower if they arent smiling to begin with because they have bad teeth.

It takes 42 muscles to frown.
It takes only 17 to smile...
but, it takes none to just stare like an idiot.

I don't tell anyone to smile. If people want to smile, they'll smile. I hate it when other people have told me to smile or "cheer up". I've usually told them to go to hell, but that's just my usual charming personality for ya. They don't want ME to feel better when they tell me to smile or cheer up, THEY want to feel better.
