My speedometer in my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer keeps going up once I get to the "12 o'clock" position on the speedometer. If I stay below 60mph (12 o'clock) it works fine but, soon as I go over that speed it keeps going and the only way to get it back to 0 is to keep turning it off and starting again then, it drops 5 mph each time. I just wanted to know if there was a quick fix before I take it to the pros. Plus, where I am there is no GM dealerships. Please help me if you can.

Sorry, but there is no quick fix..GM has had a problem with the instrument cluster on all the 03-06. the speedometer is irractic, get's stuck on high speeds, even quits, and all the guages are the same way...Being a Gm master tech, the only thing to fix it is a new instrument cluster.. which if you still under warranty, its covered, but if your a loyal customer of a dealership they are instructed by GM to replace the faulty unit providing you not over 50k miles...

There is a reprograming for that problem. You will need to go to dealer.
