Firstly, check the box to see if it mentions anything about pregnancy. Then you should get a pregnancy test and make sure that you are pregnant and not worrying yourself unneccesarily. Then, you could ask for your doctors advice. Don't worry too much about this, we have become a culture of worriers.

I don't think you will have a problem since if you are pregnant you are not very far along. A couple days before I found out I was pregnant I took Ibuprofen for what I thought was menstrual cramping and I was also was on an antibiotic because I had a sinus infection. My son was fine. From here on out, if you are pregnant or suspect that you are, don't take anything and I am sure you and the baby will be fine. When they talk about the first trimester being critical, they are referring to drug or alcohol users, or people who already have crucial diseases such as diabetes but there are many people who take medications in the first couple of weeks and have no problems. Honestly, you don't know you are pregnant until you are about 3-4 weeks along and a lot can happen in those weeks. Best wishes and take care.

The only thing I can say is that there is good evidence out there to suggest that taking any medication one off before finding out about a pregnancy usually has little affect. So many women panic when they realise they are pregnant because they got really drunk the week before or took ibuprofen for a bad head-ache etc. I think its continued medication use that concerns the health authority as opposed to one offs. Im sure you'll be fine if you are indeed pregnant. Goodluck!!!

No. A baby isn't connected to your bloodstream until the 5th or 6th week. So if you didn't know you were pregnant at the time, you're probably ok. Many women take medicines before they find out they are pregnant, and the babies are fine. Just make sure to find out ASAP if you're pregnant so you know NOT to take things.

i wouldn't worry about it. loads of people have the same problem with medications or being really drunk etc then finding out they are pregnant. there's no clear cut answer but simply you cannot change what you have already done. hope it all goes ok.
