Is it normal for someone to bring your ex up in a conversation everytime they see you, especially when youre married? I havn't talked to the ex in 4yrs/never been married to him/ no kids w/ him

It's mainly his sister that does this, and hes married also.

Why do you have contact with this woman if she does this? Can't you avoid her? You need to invite her to lunch and have a real nice but serious discussion about this----make it clear that it bothers you and would appreciate if she didn't do it anymore. Or save your money and ignore it, or pick up your purse and coat when she walks in--you get up and leave. You are not nailed to the floor--get moving when she comes in...if she notices and asks why--tell her.

I think it's normal. They just talk about your common people you know, and one of those poeple happens to be your ex.

No it is not normal. But few people are just like that,intentionally/unintentionally they bring up this sort opf subject

Wel if his sister talks to you about her brother than thats not stranger. but if she mainly talsk about him as your ex than ya thats pretty strange.

Just laugh and say, "why no, why would you ask that? you know I haven't seen him or talked to him in 4 years. How funny of you to have asked."

She's probably doing it to see your reaction to the mention of him..either that or she isn't aware that she talks about him that much.
