Ok...i need some advice. Sexually i have no problem whatsoever until I attempt to use a condom. No matter what brand I buy it all but completely kills the experience for me. I'd say 90% of the sensation is diminished the second i put on a condom and in turn I tend to lose my erection. I'll admit part of it is psychological. Obviously I have to use condoms or I'm playing Russian Roulette. Any suggestions?

Female condoms are good. I used them in the past with lots of success.

I can't (and don't) use male condoms, as they break every time. I'm with my gf forever. :)

If you think a condom kills the mood, try AIDS. I live in South Africa and the complete ignorance and ambivalence concerning the importance of using a condom never ceases to amaze (and frighten!) me. There is no alternative to using a condom (at least not unless your in a 100% monogamous relationship, with the prerequisite STD & AIDS testing done). At the end of the day there is no gaurantee, someone might look safe, but there's always the potential that you could be in for the shock of your life. As for female condoms, I advocate the use of them-simply because of the prevalence of chauvinism, igorance, rape etc in my country-it's more like a precautionary thing for women who have no other choice, a last resort, in a normal situation they are not at all comfortable for a woman-feels like a plastic bag, not sexy. I have understanding for your predicament, however I don't think there is much of an alternative-apart from trying out all the different brands available.

They make condoms now that are much thinner (and as strong) as regular ones. That helps with the sensation problem. But other than that I don't know anything to substitute for a condom. But I share your dilema, and it is partly psychological and you'll just have to work on that part more to make using a condom any bit enjoyable (or at least do-able). And yes, you're playing russian roulette every time you decline using one.

I agree that their use is a bit difficult - but the problem I have (but your description doesn't indicate whether you are the same) is that I am uncut. Added to that I have quite a lot of foreskin - which doesn't retract when I am erect. The result is that I have to make sure that I retract prior to putting the condom on and then have to make sure it stays like that to get the most out of the experience. Durex Avanti are pretty good and generally give good sensation. It does however give challenges over what positions to use to help with these issues.

Sorry - not sure that helps you much - but maybe it will a little

You just aren't used to being stimulated with a condom on, you should get used to it. Pregnancy isn't the only thing you should be worried about. And yeah, TONS of guys complain about it. So, if a girl is willing to let YOU have sex without a condom ask yourself how many others has she let also....just sayin'

I agree. First learn to only unroll the condom a fraction of the way up and then buy some VCF(vaginal contraceptive film) as a back up protection during the "careful days" (days ten thru twenty).

You can try to use thin layered condoms so you get more feeling, you can also try using gels that heat up on your Johnson so you will be erect. I myself had the same issue years ago, but it is part of life these days unless you run the risk of getting aids.

have your partner tested, I do. I'm the same way with condoms, can't maintain an erection and I can forget about ever reaching climax.
