Which world-renown university would ask for a speciallized student of mediaeval arms and armour?
I'm a 30 year old student of Islamic arms and armour; who's about to finish his research on Arab and non-Arab swords in 500-1300. In this research, I've made many academic discoveries, including the true identification of some very prominent swords in history. The research also made many new discoveries in armour.

My question is that since I intend to travel abroad (to the USA, UK or Canada), which university will want a person with my speciallization for teaching there? What about other jobs that could be available for me there? Are these jobs good in terms of the salaries paid for?

Well, I do intend to announce the new discoveries once I recieve my degree. Will this help?

I'm really serious about this and that is why I posted this question here; hoping for a serious and thourough reply.

You might consider the University of Toronto. The Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology is part of the university and the university also has a department of Islamic Studies. As well, the Royal Ontario Museum which has a splendid collection of armour is virtually on the campus of the university.
