Yes, absolutely. There is also the wrong type of female attention, as was demonstrated in fatal attraction.

Of course.
An obvious example of this is the movie "Gattacca", where the main character has "killer genes" and gets much attention, but revels in his accomplishments so highly he is surpassed by a person with "inferior genes" who overtakes his job is a pilot (and respect from people around him, not just women).

The whole "if you've got it, flaunt it" thing has a fatal weakness...

Beside the obvious AKA dealing with girls you think are unattractive or clouded with issues (negative attention), you end up dealing with them and their emo so much, out of lack of time or just arrogance you fail to keep your own skills up. And then someone else, who has been practicing while you've been sleeping with them, whoops your butt (in a competition or at sexual skills & endurance)....then the girls turn around and start to favor that guy.

I know a dude who's about 10 years younger than me (about 17) and all babyfaced & such he just got out of millitary training he spent the weekend drinking & partying and had all these girls who were all over him follow him to race...then we raced and I'd been training that weekend so I stepped up and knocked him off his pedastal beat him and I was the one getting the invites.

There's no such thing as being a "permanent alpha male", even if you're born looking smart and aggressive if you don't keep the prowess to back it up you're screwed. If you act like a wuss and take too much credit, no matter how talented you are, someone's going to take you down.

So, even if ur so good for now, don't let yourself get complacent....
