price of backpack = x
price of card case = y

5/7 x = 2y
5x = 14y
or, x = 14/5 y

x + y + 2y = 203
x + 3y = 203
substuting the value of x
14/5 y +3y = 203
y(14/5 + 3) = 203
29/5 y = 203
or, y = 203*5/29
y = 1015/29
y = 35

Now, x=14/5 y
x = 14/5 * 35
x = 490/5
x = 98

difference= cost of backpack - cost of card case
= 98 - 35
= $63 :ANSWER

the wallet is the thing mention most often so let it be x

the wallet cost 5/7 as much as the backpack, so the backpack cost (7/5) * x (the reciprical of 5/7). The backpack cost twice as much as the cardcase so the cardcase cost 1/2 x (the reciprical of 2)
so the cost of the 3 items is the x (wallet) + (7/5)x (the backpack) + (1/2)x (the cardcase) = $203

x + (7/5)x + (1/2) x = 203
10 is the least common denomator
(10/10)x + 14/10(x) + (5/10)x = 203
29/10(x) = 203 which can be written as
29x/10 = 203
29x = 2030
x = 70

so the wallet costs 70
the backpack is (7/5) * x = (7/5) * 70 = 98
the cardcase is (1/2) * x = (1/2) * 70 = 35

we have 3 things
assume A=backpack; B=wallet; C=card case
from those sentences we have B=5/7A , B=2C, and A+B+C=203
from B=5/7A we have A=7/5B
from B=2C we have C= B/2

subtitute to A + B +C =203..
7/5B + B + B/2 =203
multiply by 10->14B + 10B + 5B =2030
-> 29B = 2030
-> B = 2030/29
you have B=70
than A= 7/5*70=98
C=35
so A=35/98C or backpack cost 35/98 much as card case

Assume that

Wallet's price = x

Therefor,

Backpack = 7/5 x = (7x/5)

Cardcaes = x / 2

===============

x + (7x/5) + (x/2) = 203

(10x + 14x + 5x)/10 =203

(29x)/10 = 203

29x = 2030

x = 70

Wallet's Price = $ 70

Backpack = $ 98

Cardcase = $ 35

Differ between Backback and Cardcase = $ 63

Any time :)

Let:
bagpack = x
wallet = 5x/7
cardcase= 5x/14

x/1 + 5x/7 + 5x/14 (LCM = 14) = 203 X 14
= 29x = 2842
= x = 98

Therefore: bagpack = $98
cardcase = 98 X 5 divided by 14 = 35
98-35 (bagpack minus cardcase) = 63 is the answer.

w = (5/7)b
7w = 5b
(7/5)w = b

w = 2c
(1/2)w = c

w + b + c = 203

w + (7/5)w + (1/2)w = 203
(10/10)w + (14/10)w + (5/10)w = 203
(29/10)w = 203
29w = 2030
w = 70
c = 35
b = 98
b - c = 63
the backpack costs $63 more than the card case

Wallet = 5/7 x backpack = 2 x cardcase

7 x (5/7 x backpack) = 7 x (2 cardcase)

5 backpack = 14 cardcase

I lost already ... something like that ... lol
