Any idea how to fly to Pontianak, Indonesia?
Transit in Kuching, Jakarta or any other Indonesia major cities.

You can fly to Pontianak from both Jakarta and Kuching.
From Kuching there is Batavia and Adam. Remember this is an international flight so is pretty expensive. You can always take the bus its only 8-10 hours.
From Jakarta you have more choice and its a domestic flight so its much cheaper. Garuda is the most expensive but there is also Garuda Citilink, Adam, Batavia and Merpati.

Firstly, you can take flight to Jakarta or Surabaya then continue to Pontianak. You can use Garuda Indonesia and for budget airline you can use Air Asia. I'm not suggested you to use Adam Air due to the airline safety..
Kuching is not Indonesia major city but it belong to Malaysia, but you can take bus from there to go to Pontianak..

I think the best way would be transit in Jakarta. n get another plane like Adam Air or something to Pontianak..

the best way is to connect in Jakarta, there are a lot of airlines serving Pontianak-Jakarta round-trip nowadays. most of these airlines are budget airlines.

you can transit in jakarta, but make sure you use a good airlines, because the airplane that indonesia use, usually old ones. So, for your own good, choose a good airlines like garuda or any other airlines that even though expensive, but can guarantee your safety!
