I need it for my research I-A proposal... Please... I'm making lip gloss but I can't use pertoleum jelly since it is already considered as a moisturizer... Please help...

Astrolub or K-Y jelly or some water based solution, so it is easy to wash off and does not harm you if ingested... like cocanut cream. Alo-vera plants are good. you split the leaves and its like a jelly that comes out. You can cook them to make a base for your lip gloss

I would go for shea butter. t hardens up and it is odorless and tasteless. The downside to it is the expense.

There are others such as jojoba oil, caster oil, lanolin and beeswax.

I think vitamin E can also double up as a lip gloss.

if u are making lipgloss u should mix glecerine and a little bit of olive oil together.
